Lucy's Xena Tweets for May 31 2013

A couple of Xena tweets from Lucy:

I've seen her say that before in interviews about filming: http://dustyscrolls.blogspot.ca/2011/02/defining-moments-lucy-lawless.html Xena was a collaborative effort. Refreshing considering so many stars like to take 100% credit for their successful tv shows and movies!

Buzzfeed Post Xena vs Game Of Thrones

I love this post! Hilarious!

11 Reasons "Xena: Warrior Princess" Is Better Than "Game Of Thrones"

Sex? Intrigue? Political machinations? Whatever. Xena had all that and more way back in the mid ’90s......read 11 reasons at BuzzFeed

While I realize this post is a joke, it's ironic to read it right now since I've been doing a Xena re-watch in recent weeks, and just dumped Game of Thrones. In GOT none of the characters have any warmth to them, unlike Xena and Gabrielle, as we saw over it's six seasons. Characters on other shows, fantasy or otherwise do as well. All the characters on GOT are like cold fish. Ugh. No one to care about. But I always cared about Xena and Gab. Battle on!

Lucy Horse Fall and Playing 'Velma' in Chicago

Apparently Lucy Lawless took a fall from a horse. Oh no! I'm guessing that's why she was off twitter for awhile.  I remember years ago when she fell off a horse during a Tonight Show appearance. That was when she was on Xena. She broke her pelvis. It doesn't appear so serious this time around. Whew! I believe there also are some bloopers from Xena of her falling of her horse. Wish her well at twitter:

In other news, she's starring  in the Auckland Theatre company production of Chicago, as 'Velma.' That's wonderful! :
